Empowering Lives Through Mental Wellness

At Vision Mental Health Services, we are more than a counseling center—we are a training ground for the next generation of mental health professionals. As a non-profit organization, our mission is twofold: to provide accessible, quality services to the community and to equip practicum students and developing therapists with the hands-on experience they need to thrive in the field.

MORE ABOUT US

At Vision Mental Health Services, a dedicated non-profit organization, we’re committed to shaping the next generation of therapists and practitioners with hands-on, real-world training. Our practicum and training programs provide students and clinical professionals the opportunity to build confidence, sharpen skills, and make a lasting impact in the communities they serve.

COUNSELING SERVICES

Our training classes are designed to equip you with a strong foundation in the core areas of mental health practice. You’ll gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience in individual, family, couples, and youth counseling, as well as an introduction to psychological testing.

Through expert instruction, interactive learning, and real-world application, you’ll build valuable skills in communication, assessment, intervention, and case management. These classes are crafted to help you grow as a professional, boost your confidence, and prepare you to handle a variety of counseling situations with compassion and competence.

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling provides a safe and supportive space for one-on-one sessions between the client and their therapist. It focuses on helping individuals explore personal challenges, manage emotions, and work toward healthier coping strategies. Sessions are tailored to each person’s unique needs, with the goal of fostering growth, resilience, and positive change.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling offers a supportive space for partners to address challenges, improve communication, and strengthen their relationship. Sessions focus on working through conflicts, rebuilding trust, and fostering deeper connection, helping couples build a healthier and more fulfilling partnership.

Family Counseling

Family counseling helps families navigate conflict, improve communication, and strengthen bonds. By addressing concerns together in a safe and guided setting, families learn healthier ways to resolve challenges and build a more supportive home environment.

Youth/Children Counseling

Child and youth counseling provides age-appropriate support for children and teens as they navigate life’s challenges. Using creative and engaging approaches, counseling helps young people process emotions, develop coping skills, and build confidence, while also involving parents to encourage growth at home.

Psychological Testing

Psychological testing uses assessments to better understand a person’s emotional, behavioral, and cognitive needs. These evaluations provide insight that helps guide treatment planning, supports academic or personal growth, and ensures individuals receive care tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
